Meet the Living Daylights, the rock band at the center of a world of twenty/thirty something misfits, eccentrics, and slackers from the Amish country of Lancaster, PA.
On vocals and guitar is Sue, an ogrish boy with a broken heart. On bass and drums are a pair of bespectacled twin nerds, Randy and George.
Rounding out the immediate gang are the overweight couch surfer Wyatt, his clueless young girlfriend Ida, and Oscar, the sinister Casanova of the group.
The missing ingredient is Alex, George and Randy's older sister... and Sue's M.I.A. girlfriend. Alex was always a bit of a wild card and after the recent death of their mother, Alex abruptly vanished, leaving her immature brothers to tend to the large farmhouse and the future career of the band.
The Living Daylights are local celebrities about to embark on their first tour. The problem? Much to the twins' dismay, Sue doesn't feel like singing.
On the morning the band is supposed to leave for their one-year tour of dive bar shows across the country, Sue reports to work at waste management, choosing to squander his one chance to get out of town and instead collect it's garbage every morning.
As the gang deals with increasing antagonism from town derelicts, Clyde and Howard, Alex makes her return. Sue and the twins are forced to choose between stagnation or adventure.
It's all or nothing... rock stardom or mountains of trash?
