Della Valle is the ever-evolving pet project of Singer/Songwriter/Actor/DJ, Jay Della Valle. He is currently based out of Montclair, NJ.  Jay can be described in no other way than simply “a man who loves, knows, and is music.” He has poured his heart out and whispered all his secrets and desires into the mic for audience delight since he was just a teen, releasing multiple EPs, LPs, & Singles under the Della Valle moniker. He isn’t always a one man show; great musicians have joined him and together they have toured and trod down endless avenues, watching one another come and go, all leaving their distinct stamp on the band’s flavor.

You can see Jay in the Upcoming Feature Film, Mount Joy, destined for a March 2013 SxSw theatrical release. Jay plays the lead role as Sue, a garbage collector who rocks out as front man of the punk rock trio, Living Daylights. Jay wrote all the music for Living Daylights you will see in the film and had a blast writing, recording, and proving that cock-rock is still alive and well. 

Recently, Jay released his first Live album- "Live at Hotel Cafe" which was recorded in December 2011 at Hotel Cafe in Hollywood, CA and which is currently available for stream on the DV website and through his mailing list.  As of January 2013- he will be in the studio with several reknown artists, writing & recording songs for his next EP- which he is planning to release in July 2013. 

When he's not strumming his guitar, writing music, or being distracted by the internet, Jay gets his inspiration from playing with his 2 year old daughter Sloane, honing his wildnerness survival skills, travelling, taking photos, DJing weddings, & writing spontaneous philosophy.
